Illustration Friday: Atmosphere

Baseball on Mars illustration by Christina Rodriguez.

Happy Friday! I’ve been working on finishes for Adelita and the Calabacita Cousins but wanted to show something from one of my newest award-winning releases, Baseball on Mars, for this week’s Illustration Friday.  In this scene, Roberto and his Dad’s imaginations run wild as they enter the atmosphere of Mars on their homemade spaceship.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

I just know that cat falls off eventually. He or she floats away and is adopted by little green men. Someday the cat will return to earth in a spacesuit especially designed for him. Armed with a robotic body that the cat can navigate from the helmit. With it's tail of course!

Astronaut Kitties from Mars, Sharon? Sounds like a pulp sci-fi idea. "They came to con-purr Earth!" :)
