Illustration Friday: Chicken

Mayte and the Bogeyman illustration by Christina Rodriguez

This week’s submission for Illustration Friday is from Mayte and the Bogeyman / Mayte y el Cuco. It shows the climactic scene between Mayte, her friend Pepito, and Don Apricio, where their misunderstanding culminates in loose chickens.  You can check out even more artwork from Mayte and the Bogeyman in these Illustration Friday posts.

Have a great weekend, everybody!

Great dynamic composition, Christina! Lots of action going on with the crowd, the kids and the chickens. I like the apple in the foreground. It adds depth!
