It’s a sneak peek for this week’s Illustration Friday!  From the forthcoming educational book, Manolo y el Loro: Manolo imitates his friend Rufo the parrot and tries to get him to talk. I hope to post more on this Spanish-language early reader soon.

Hiatus!

Happy Monday, folks!  Hopefully everyone’s been enjoying the summer so far.  I’m announcing a little hiatus from my blog since deadlines are pretty much ruling my life lately.  I’m excited for the progress I’m making on Manolo y el Loro and Adelita and the Veggie Cousins.
